The Faculty of Economics trains economic specialists with qualifications in Finances. These students study economic history and geography, economic theory, industrial economy, investment policy, marketing, management, statistical theory, micro and macro economy, commercial enterprise, environmental economy, general theory of finance, taxes and tax policy, accounting, monetary policy, credit, banking, business finance and other collateral economic subjects.
The faculty emphasizes statistical paradigms and international technology.
The economic students study legal subjects the directly affect economic activity such as: workers rights, banking law and elementary jurisprudence. The students have their practical experience in the Armenian banking systems, local commercial enterprises, in local government offices and in and with other financial organizations.
